I love this game! What inspired you to make it?
We love elves, Christmas and video games -- what else were we going to do?
There is so much snow on the screen -- I can't see what I am doing.
What!?! you want less snow? -- well to each his or her own. Click on "Options" from the main menu and slide the snowflake to the left.
Nice game, but I could use a bit more snow.
You're our kind of people. We got your snow for ya! Click on "Options" from the main menu and jam that snow flake all the way to the right. Ahhh…beautiful snow.
I was playing the game, dropped a toy, and got so angry I shook my phone. To my surprise, I seem to have broken the snow -- it's going everywhere.
First, calm down. This is a happy game. If you drop a toy, you can always try again. You might consider anger management... But as for your question, the game has advanced snow globe technologies that allow it to simulate that all-too-hard-to-find-these-days Christmas knick-knack. Enjoy!
Why don't the elves talk dirty or lose their clothes? That would be totally awesome!
Ok, you probably need the kind of help only a doctor can provide, but we will acknowledge that there have been seedier games that have abused our poor elfin brethren. These are Christmas elves, man! They are happy-go-lucky little guys and they, like we, strongly believe in family friendly fun and antics.
Can you give me any tips to get a really high score?
Sure! Don't drop the toys.
Sometimes the toy bounces one way off the trampoline and sometimes the other. What's going on?
If the toy hits on the left side of the trampoline, the toy goes right. As you might guess, if you hit on the right side of the trampoline, the toy goes left. Use this knowledge to guide the toy to Santa's bag.
Hey who is this "Kreativz" and what do they have to do with iPhone games?!?
We are a group of talented, diverse and, of course, creative people who do all kinds of different things. But of course, the games keep us on our toes!
Those elf voices are crazy! How did you do those?
We hired a professional voice actor, of course. It just so happens that he is four and works for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. You should have heard the outtakes!
When the game first comes up it takes a second before it accepts my input.
The game preloads all the audio and image resources it needs in those few seconds. I don't know about you, but we're not that fast -- even after we've had our espresso!
I want tech support!
You got it. Email elfbounce@kreativz.com
Feel free to send us feedback or suggestions about the game too!
Which platforms is this game available on?
Currently Elf Bounce is released only on the iPhone and iTouch, but let us know if you would be interested in a PC or Mac version. Only demand will create supply. Email elfbounce@kreativz.com .
Do I have any control over how high the toys bounce?
Sure you do! You can bounce the phone right when the toy lands on the trampoline and the toy will bounce higher. Practice this technique (while maintaining a firm grip on your iPhone or iPod Touch) in beginner mode. Master it to play advanced mode to keep toys from coming down at the same time.
What are those funny squares in the night sky?
They are buttons. The one with the 'X' stops the current game and goes back to the menu. Never use this button; always finish your game. You are not a quitter! The other button with the '||' is the pause button. We have found this very useful when playing a marathon game of Elf Bounce! Hit the pause button to answer a question from a friend or co-worker. Or just take a break and watch the snow…or better yet shake for snow globe fun.
The art is fun. Who created it?
We like it too. San Francisco Bay Area graphic designer and artist Susan Bercu of www.bercudesign.com was our lead (and only) artist on this project!
